David is a business owner, investor and board advisor with over 30 years’ experience across consultancy, business services and insurance-related sectors. He has founded and led multiple businesses, including Ember Group, which he built from the ground up and successfully sold to Davies Group, where he later held a senior Group role.

As CEO of Ember Group, David was responsible for the overall strategy, growth and operations of the business, scaling it to a multi-million-pound organisation with a broad range of services across customer engagement, analytics and advisory. His experience as a founder gives him a practical understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs, from early-stage growth through to scaling and exit.

Following the sale, David became Group Chief Transformation Officer at Davies Group, where he led major transformation programmes across AI, automation and M&A integration within a global insurance services organisation. His work included overseeing complex integrations, operational change and large-scale technology initiatives across multiple geographies.

David continues to work as a senior advisor and investor, including his role with Suited Insure Ltd, where he contributes strategic input across business growth, operations and product direction. His involvement helps ensure that Suited’s approach remains grounded in real-world business needs and reflects the practical challenges faced by SMEs and growing companies.
