What is a summary of cover?

Who underwrites this insurance?

‬This insurance is arranged and administered by Suited and underwritten by the Insurer, Admiral Business, a‬ trading name of Able Insurance Services Limited, on behalf of Admiral Insurance (Gibraltar) Limited.‬

What is this type of insurance?

Electronic Business Equipment pays the repair and replacement costs of your electronic business equipment and related accessories if damaged or stolen, in the office, at home and while away.

What is insured—significant features and benefits

✔ Physical damage; this includes accidental, liquid, fire, flood and malicious damage.

✔ Theft cover; if your equipment is stolen, you’ll be offered a like for like replacement or a payout if a suitable replacement cannot be supplied.

✔ Worldwide cover

✔ You can choose up to £10,000 of cover; starting with £2,500 going up in £2,500 increments.

✔ Accessories are included

✔ You don’t have to declare to us the details of all your items prior to purchase.‬‭ You only‬‭ need proof of ownership when you make a claim.‬

What is not insured—significant or unusual exclusions or limitations

✗ Mobile phones.

✗ Loss or mysterious disappearance.

✗ Claims arising in countries or areas where the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all travel or “all but essential travel” list unless agreed by us prior to your travel.

✗ Items left unattended in public space.

✗ Items stored overnight in a vehicle.

✗ Loss of electronic data, or claims arising out of damage, destruction, distortion, erasure, corruption or alteration of electronic data.

What are the cover limits and excess?‬

‬For the maximum amounts payable, refer to your schedule and the policy wording. The excess is £250.‬

Where am I covered?

The loss or damage of your portable electronic equipment is covered worldwide.

What are my obligations?

Make sure the information you have provided to us is complete and accurate. You must inform‬ us immediately of any changes and this obligation applies at all times - before applying for‬ coverage and throughout its life.

You must, as soon as is practicable, after discovering the theft of, or malicious damage to‬ equipment, report the occurrence to the Police and obtain an incident report number or crime‬ reference number.‬

You must use your best endeavours to ensure that all authorised users take all reasonable‬ precautions to take care of your equipment at all times.‬

The protective case must hold the equipment securely in place. In addition, a screen protector‬ must be used for tablets. When closed, the protective case must fully protect the front, back,‬ sides and corners of the equipment.‬

The equipment must not be operated after any Accidental, Liquid, Fire, Flood or malicious‬ damage if this could cause further damage to equipment.‬

When does the cover start and end?

Your cover will start on the date you select and will continue each month until it is cancelled.

How do I cancel the contract?

You can cancel anytime using the cancel option in your customer portal. You can also contact our call center to do it for you. If you cancel within the first 14 days of the cover start date, we promise to issue a full refund.

When and how do I pay?

The premium will be collected from your payment card each month around the same date as your policy start date.
